What’s
the difference between PPSCNY and PPFA?
Nurse Nancy Snow, LPN and Physician Assistant Victoria Barton, RPAc are among the health care professionals who serve our patients at Planned Parenthood of South Central New York. |
At
Planned Parenthood of South Central New York, Inc.
(PPSCNY), people often tell us they have sent a donation in support of
our work, only to find their donation has actually gone to Planned Parenthood
Federation of America (PPFA). We are not the same organization. PPFA certainly
does important work supporting national and international reproductive rights
issues. Money sent to PPFA, however, does not
come back to your local community. Money donated to www.plannedparenthood.org or
www.ppfa.org also goes to Planned Parenthood Federation of American and not
your
local clinics in Binghamton, Oneonta, Norwich, Sidney, Walton and Lisle, New
York.
PPSCNY
is your local Planned Parenthood affiliate and provides high quality, affordable
medical and educational services right here in Broome, Chenango, Delaware and
Otsego counties. If you choose to support the vital resources Planned Parenthood
provides in your neighborhood, please donate to PPSCNY. For more information,
call our Director of Development at 607-723-5130 or go to www.ppscny.org.
