In 2006, we cared for nearly 500 male patients. Men who come to Planned Parenthood appreciate our confidential, affordable health care in a non-judgmental environment.
- We can check for testicular cancer and teach you how to examine yourself for cancer.
- We offer rapid HIV testing, using either blood or saliva.
- We can screen men for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and treat infections that are found. If you are having symptoms of an infection, such as burning when you urinate or a discharge from your penis, we can do an exam to look for evidence of an STDs.
- We can talk to men about sharing responsibility for family planning.
- We are happy to provide men with condoms at our clinics.
