Services for the Community

Speakers: If your group or organization is looking for an informative and lively speaker, call us at Planned Parenthood. Our educators have presented to parent groups, PTA's, religious organizations, social, civic and business groups. Planned Parenthood's programs are available on such timely topics as reproductive health, STD prevention, healthy relationships, family communication, sexual orientation, and raising sexually healthy and responsible children. Whether your group as five or fifty members, our education staff can create a program to meet your needs.

Family Matters! From the earliest questions through the late teenage years, parents are the best sexuality educators of their children. We offer:

  • Both parent and parent / youth workshops
  • Print, internet and video resources
  • A mobile library for you to borrow books
  • Confidential individual family education sessions
  • Parenting information and referral to encourage family communication about sexuality.

Community health resources: Planned Parenthood can provide educational displays and exhibits for health fairs, libraries, dormatories and other events. Our brochure collection contains accurate and current information about many health related topics. Our educators have worked with scohol districts, advisory groups, local AIDS task forces, child abuse prevention groups, substance abuse prevention councils, and many others to improve the health and well being of our communities.

Fees for programs vary and many are FREE. Please call one of our clinics and ask to speak to an educator:
